The Architecture Collective
A room where architects talk to each other honestly.
We have run more than fifty events since 2023. Nothing is pitched, nothing is recorded, and what is said in the room stays there. Collada pays for it and I host it, and that is where our involvement ends.
What it costs us
$29,835 back into this community since 2023.
Rooms, food and drinks for more than fifty events. No sponsor, no ticket price and no attendee has ever paid to be there. It is the single line in our accounts that returns nothing directly, and it is the reason we know this market.
Direct event costs since 2023, from our own accounts. Excludes our time.
What happens
Twenty to forty people, one topic, someone in the room who has actually done it. Ninety minutes, then drinks.
Sessions are hosted by members. Kordia, Watercare, Chorus, Spark, Westpac, Z Energy, AWS, Snowflake, Datacom, Vista Group and the Tertiary Education Commission have all hosted one.
Members are heads of architecture, principals and senior practitioners from across public sector, banking, utilities and the consultancies. Competitors sit next to each other, which is the point.
